Stuhlmuller Cab Sav 2012 Alexander Valley

Cabernet Sauvignon has flavors and aromas of blackberry, black currant, cassis, mint, eucalyptus, cedar wood, leather and plum.

The varietal is found to grow very well on the left bank of Bordeaux, France (Medoc) and Napa, California.

While I wish that I could afford one of the top Cabernet Sauvignons in the world from Chateau Latour or Sassicaia (the world’s most expensive wine), I highly recommend the Stuhlmuller Vineyards Cabernet from California that is a little easier on your pocketbook.

I recommend pairing Cabernet Sauvignon with my:

Roasted Vegetable Medley

Vegetable Bolognese and Creamy Polenta (recipe coming soon)
